Pupils in school have been learning all about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in support of World Children’s Day.
Team Rowling have written newspaper reports from the day after the Rights of the Child were declared on 20th November 1959 highlighting the positive impact these Rights would provide for children around the world. This also provided valuable support to pupils’ current English unit of Journalistic Writing through cross-curricular links.
