Pupils are at the heart of our school community. At Stanley Crook Primary School we believe it is really important that we consult with our pupils and consider their opinions, ideas and thoughts, to help us to evaluate what the children like about our school and what we can do to make it even better for them.
A Pupil Voice meeting where the children read this month’s wellbeing newsletter and prepared notes for an upcoming meeting with Mr C.
We have a very active School Council – elected in Team Councils – who help make decisions about our school from the colour of our uniform to the design of our toilets! Our Buddies and Mini Buddies are always on hand to help in the playground – if you have a problem sit on the Buddy Bench and we will help you!
We therefore believe that their voice should be taken into account. Our school works well because pupils and staff listen to each other and work together through our School Council and feedback. We also have a “Buddy” system in place to help pupils make friends or discuss problems.
If you require further information on any of the items shown in this section, please contact the school and we will do our best to help.
