Mr C Teasdale

Team Donaldson Class Teacher (English Lead and EYFS Lead)

Mr Teasdale completed his PGCE at Northumbria University following a BA(Hons) in English Studies at Teesside University. He joined Stanley Crook Primary School in 2014 as an NQT.

Since joining Stanley Crook Primary School, Mr Teasdale has worked in Key Stage Two in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5.

Mr Teasdale is now EYFS Lead and Class Teacher in Team Donaldson, where he is utilising his skills as English Subject Lead to develop Early Reading and Early Writing skills through enhancing provision around Communication, Language and vocabulary development.

In addition, he is the Unicef Rights Respecting Schools leader, having achieved the Recognition of Commitment Award. Mr Teasdale also works as the International Schools coordinator, leading the schools towards the foundation level award after establishing international links with schools in Spain and Mozambique.

Currently Mr Teasdale is completing the National Professional Qualification in Leading Literacy.

Mr Teasdale also works closely to support SEND pupils and is passionate about improving outcomes within children’s writing.

When not in school Mr Teasdale enjoys reading, attending concerts and spending time with his family and dog.
