Miss S Rowcroft

 Teaching Assistant

Miss Rowcroft began her journey working with children at Durham Trinity School after gaining a NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education. Her time in Trinity was spent supporting a range of needs with children from 2-18 years. Miss Rowcroft then went on to work in various schools specialising in supporting Special Educational Needs (SEND) children. In 2000, she joined Stanley Crook Primary as a Teaching Assistant specialising in SEND. Miss Rowcroft has worked in all year groups. Being at Stanley Crook Primary School, Miss Rowcroft has gained many skills and is a great asset to Team Stanley Crook. Miss Rowcroft works as Swimming Coordinator leading on organisation towards the National Curriculum target of all pupils swimming 25m: She has also completed the ASA National Curriculum Training Programme for Swimming.

Out of school Miss Rowcroft likes socializing and spending time with her family.
