Back to School – Tuesday 6th September

I hope everyone within our community has enjoyed a fun and safe summer break! The staff and I are all excited for the start of the new school year and in welcoming all pupils back to school next week.

A reminder that school reopens for teaching purposes on Tuesday 6th September. For those of you who signed your children up to join us for Breakfast Club, a reminder that the club will open at the earlier time of 8:15am this academic year.

The start of this new school year will present us with many exciting opportunities to further develop our outstanding school and to provide our wonderful pupils with the very best learning experiences.

Next week will see the official launch of our new school uniform – plain black shoes please – and within only the first few weeks back at school, pupils will have the chance to engage in many creative learning activities and educational visits across all Teams including a Roald Dahl Day and the Punctuation Show!

I will be contacting parents/ carers next week to advise on dates for our ‘Team Meetings’ which will provide you with an opportunity to meet your child’s new class teacher and to discuss expectations and plans for the new academic year.

Once again, I hope you have all enjoyed a great summer break and we look forward to welcoming you and your child(ren) back to school next week!
