Our School Day

Our School Office Staff (Mrs Bebb and Mrs Higginbotham) are here to help you. However, here are a few items that may be useful to parents and carers which you can view or download from our website.

Our School Day

The compulsory school week consists of 32.5 hours (8:45am-3:15pm Monday-Friday).

School is open for to provide additional wraparound/ childcare provision and extra-curricular clubs from 7:45am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

A typical school day…

  • 7:45am: Breakfast Club opens
  • Children can begin to arrive at school from 8.30am.
  • 8:45am: Start of compulsory School Day – registration and learning begins
  • 10:00am-10:15am: Morning break time with Playground Leaders, Buddies and Sports Leaders
  • 11:40am-12:30pm: Lunchtime (Team Donaldson and Team Cherry)
  • 12:30pm: Registration for Team Donaldson and Team Cherry
  • 12:10pm-1:00pm: Lunchtime (Team Cowell, Team Soundar and Team Morpurgo)
  • 1:00pm: Registration for Team Cowell, Team Soundar and Team Morpurgo
  • 3:15pm: End of the compulsory School Day
  • 3:15pm-5:30pm: Wraparound Provision
  • 3:15pm-4:15pm: Extra-Curricular After-School Clubs
  • 5:30pm: School Closes
